PacerPro Marks Five Years of State Court Filing Delivery

NEW YORK — PacerPro today marked five years of continuous state court service, providing automated download and distribution of court filings in near real time to firm workflows across the US. With court filings that consistently reach firms within 2 minutes of the initial court notice, the service now reaches eight of the top ten firms on the 2026-2027 Vault Law 100 rankings of the most prestigious law firms in America.

State courts are harder to serve than the federal system. Filings move through a patchwork of e-filing managers (EFMs), e-filing service providers (EFSPs), and court-specific workflows that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. PacerPro delivers filings directly into the systems that litigation teams already use, reducing delays, lowering the risk of a missed filing, and keeping case teams working from the same record.

“State court access is an extraordinarily complex ecosystem of EFMs, EFSPS, and localized workflows,” said James Grohsgal, Director of Product at PacerPro. “Mapping and delivering data is infinitely more complex than at the federal level, but care and consideration are required so we can get the right filing to the right people without burying them in noise.”

PacerPro raised capital in 2021 to expand its state court coverage. Since then, the company has built out state court infrastructure across major litigation jurisdictions, pairing software automation with court-specific operational processes designed for large enterprise legal organizations. Notable additions include California's San Francisco Complex Superior Court, the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, and all New York courts through an integration with the New York State Courts Electronic Filing (NYSCEF) system. In 2026, an integration with File & ServeXpress (FSX) opened access to filings from the Delaware Court of Chancery, a major hub for corporate litigation.
